IP numbers define the water resistance levels in a load cell, thus further specifying the treatment of a specific cell and its capacity to endure environments in which higher water pressures are found. · Example: “IP x Y” gives us the protection level where, X = dust, Y = 0.8 (protection against dust) · IPx7 = Full protection against dust and protection against long periods of immersion under higher pressure. |
